26 postures

Bikram yoga is a 90 minutesconsisting of 26 postures (Asanas) and two breathing exercises done in a room that is heated to 105°F/40°C.
It is open to all levels – from beginners to those with years of experience in practicing yoga., working the entire body.

During the class, all the muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints are worked and strengthened, every posture prepares you for the next one. The sequence of 26 postures was scientifically designed to systematically and progressively work every muscle, ligament, tendon and joint in your body, moving fresh oxygenated blood around 100% of the body, into each and every organ and fiber, restoring all systems.

The studio is heated to 105°F/40°C to help loosen the joints and improve elasticity of the muscles, which allows for safer and deeper stretching. It also promotes sweating, allowing your body to completely detoxify.
Practicing Bikram Yoga on a regular basis helps maintain a healthy body, improve your posture, align your spinal column, increase muscle and joint flexibility, as well as develop your capacity to concentrate, reduce stress and increase your energy.
A Bikram Yoga class requires each participant to make a true effort during 90 minutes, but the feeling you get after each class will make you want to do it again real soon !
